KLPP is a 675MW combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant with co-generating facilities, located at Kuala Langat, Selangor. The plant began its operation in January of 1996 and has steadily generate energy since then for the people of Selangor. Worldwide Holdings Berhad continuously act as one of the only other shareholders in the development, holding 25% of the total investment.
We are the energy development arm of WHB, a wholly owned company of the Selangor State Government. We are entrusted by the authorities of the state government for the execution of energy production.
